LOCAL PICKUP AND SHIPPING INFO

  • We ship our orders via Canada Post Expedited Parcel.(And Lettermail by request - see details below)
  • A tracking number and $100 of insurance are included.*
  • Orders will normally be packaged and shipped within 2 business days.**
  • Canada Post delivery times range from 1-7 business days.

COVID-19 Shipping guarantees have been suspended by Canada Post. Please know that your parcel may take more than the 7 days to arrive. If you have any issues, please email us!

Please note that shipping rates are based on order totals after any coupons or discounts are applied. Shipping costs only cover part of the actual cost of shipping, we pay the rest.

Some exceptions to flat rate or free shipping promotions may occur. Oversized or bulkier items may be subject to an additional overweight handling surcharge to cover the extra shipping fees. Any such additions will be noted on the product page and added to your order total prior to check-out. 

Shipping to remote locations within Canada may also incur additional shipping charges beyond the rates detailed above. We will inform you of any extra charges prior to shipping, either on the invoice or via e-mail contact so that you may approve any shipping surcharges.

In the event that Canada Post is on strike you may request that we use another courier at additional cost. If you are local, we can deliver the item to you in person (conditions apply, see delivery options below) 

* We are only responsible for the first $100 of insurance. If you would like more shipping insurance, please let us know and we will send you an invoice to cover the cost. 

**Please note that we are a home based business. This shipping window depends on how many orders we receive and what time orders are placed. Life also happens and orders can be delayed by a few days, especially during sales. The buyer is responsible for providing the correct address and picking up the items before they are returned by the post office. Any return to sender fees and the fee to re-ship the items will be the responsibility of the buyer. 

 

Layaway/Combined shipping - This option is for those who want to make a few orders at different times and combine them together to save on shipping. Orders must originate from the same account and be shipped to the same address. Please email us if you would like to do a layaway!

 

Lettermail is chosen at the risk of the buyer. It can only be chosen for thin items, such as RLR and sometimes a single diaper. If you are unsure of whether or not your chosen items are thin enough please email us first. If this option is chosen and the item does not qualify, an email and invoice will be sent to you to cover the extra cost. A restocking fee may also be charged. Items may need to be opened and shipped without packaging. Lettermail is not tracked and in rare occurrences items may be lost or damaged. New and Green Baby Co. is not responsible for such occurrences. 

During Grovia Scratch off promotions, Itty Bitty sticks will only be sent via lettermail if that is the only item you purchase. If you want it insured and shipped faster full shipping fees apply at Canada posts current rate. 

 

Local Pick-Up

Please note that during the Covid 19 isolation, we can still provide local pickup options and deliver orders as long as we can maintain social distancing. Make sure to wash your hands the items and discard any packaging. Please contact us if you have any concerns!

 

Vancouver/Lower Mainland - If you live in Greater Vancouver and select local pick-up on the check-out screen, we will have your items available for pick up instead of shipping. Following your order placement, we will contact you to arrange a pick up date and time. We are currently located in Port Coquitlam.

COVID-19 Update: Please note that we are not travelling into Vancouver or other areas very often during the pandemic so we may not be able to meet right away. If you would still like to do a local pickup in these locations, please email us!

Vancouver:

We are also available to meet you in Vancouver at Science World or Select Vancouver Public Library Locations! We will email you to set up a time to meet!

Burnaby:

Metrotown/Crystal Mall and select Burnaby Public Library Locations such as McGill Branch.

 

Please send us an email with a few days/times you were available. If we do not hear from you we will email you to set up a time to meet! 

 

We don't want you to wait around all day for the postal workers! With new local pickup options and the potential for delivery you won't have to! 

 

Delivery

Do you live in the Greater Vancouver region? Interested in having your package delivered? Send us an email and we will see what we can do! We are usually pretty flexible! 

Deliveries will only be made in person. The billing address must be the exact address that is used for your credit card. Cash and Etransfers are also accepted. E transfers must be paid ahead of time as they can often take up to an hour to be processed. Thanks! 

 

 

A note on packaging…

At New & Green we like to re-use when we can! As a result, we may re-use boxes and packing materials that we have on hand to ship your order. We may also remove items from their package due to the increasing cost of shipping. 

Please also note that we do not include a printed copy of your invoice with your shipment. However, if you require a printed copy, just let us know and we will include one with your order.

 

RETURN POLICY

We work hard to create happy customers! We truly value your business and want to ensure your satisfaction.

If you experience a product defect, these are handled directly by the manufacturer. If you require assistance getting in touch with the manufacturer, please contact us via e-mail and we will do our best to help. Return shipping to the manufacturer is the responsibility of the customer.

If you are not happy with your purchase for any other reason, you may return the item(s) as follows:

Please contact us before returning your item(s). We require the following information to process an exchange or refund:

  • Your name
  • Your mailing address
  • The date of purchase
  • A description of products for return/exchange
  • The reason for return/exchange

All other returns must be received in new condition unused, unwashed, with all tags and original packaging intact. No returns will be accepted on sales, clearance items or skin care products. Pre-ordered items are subject to a restocking fee. Some items may be eligible for a full refund if they are in immaculate used condition. Please contact us to see if you qualify. 

Within 15 days from the date your order was placed you may return your item(s) for a refund. After 15 days up until 30 days after the order was placed, we will accept the return and provide you with an online store credit. After 30 days, all sales are final and no item(s) may be returned. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee and shipping costs for returns. 

Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping costs (including return to sender fees). In addition the actual shipping costs from sending the package to you will also be deducted from your refund/credit. Sometimes we may also choose to run a gift with purchase promotion or send samples or gifts with your order. The cost of any gift with purchase will also be deducted from the return if it is not returned in new condition. Refunds on gifts with purchase are not eligible for skin care products. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in the mail. We recommend you send with a tracking number and full insurance to ensure the diapers are not lost in the mail system. 

Refunds may also be made in person if you were local to the area. Please contact us to arrange a time to meet. 

Please allow up to 5 business days for processing of any returned diapers after they are received by New & Green.

 

*Sale items, skincare products and Clearance item are excluded.

Bummis and Funky Fluff are final sale. The manufacturers have gone out of business and there is not longer warranty for their products. 

 

*Discount codes must be applied to orders prior to checkout and cannot be combined. Some codes do not work for all companies depending on manufacturers rules.
