Two layers of soft breathable wool flannel serged with elastic at legs and waist. Side snaps give a great fit with good coverage over any diaper. They have a nice high front rise with the added benefit of a smooth flat front.  This is an nice advantage for those babies who really like to tummy lie.  For older babies who are "practicing their dressing skills" (aka stripping down and running around gleefully), these side snap covers make it a little more tricky to get off (for the kids, that is!) which is a good thing.
