Natural Beginnings with Natural Fibers 

Is it important to you to put natural fibers next to your little one's skin? Are you looking for diapers that use fibers that are kinder to our earth? Then Hemp, Bamboo and Wool may be just what you are looking for.

Hemp and Bamboo are fast growing plants that require little chemical intervention and compared to cotton, are less harsh on the soil that they are grown in.

Wool is a fabulous fiber for a cover - it keeps the wetness in, is breathable and only needs washing every 1 - 2 weeks!

Unbleached Cotton is also a natural choice.  The fibers are not treated and as a result, your baby is not exposed to chemical byporducts such as dioxins.  By choosing unbleached products you are also being kinder to the earht as no dioxins were released during this fiber's production.  Unbleached cotton is really soft and gets softer with repeated wahsing.  Our most economical newborn diapers are made from unbleached cotton so you have the added benefit of cost savings too!  We recommend the Dri-Line Fitted Diapers, the Unbleached Cotton Contour Diapers or the Unbleached Indian Cotton Prefolds.

For a premium diaper that you will really enjoy putting your Newborn baby in until they are around 18lbs, we highly recommend the AMP Hemp fitted diaper or the Bamboozle Size One Bamboo Diaper.  Both of these diapers are really absorbent, extremely well made and fit really nicely.  They seem to not feel as sopping wet when they are wet which is an added bonus for your little one's skin.

The Bambineo Bamboo Diaper is a good option for a "grow with me" diaper and will fit your baby through many stages.  

For wool covers, we have two offerings: a day cover and a day/night cover.  We highly recommend the hand made Sheepish Sheila Covers for the day.  They are cute, functional and breathable.  For a cover that will take you from day to night, we recommend the Aristocrat.  It is our hands down favourtie night cover.
